Mélange 2000 is the latest in the series of annual conferences and symposia conducted by the IEEE-VESIT student Branch as a part of our annual activities. Mélange 2000 follows our 1999 conference ‘Beyond 2000’ and the 1998 conference ‘Techknowledge’.

Both ‘Techknowledge’ and ‘Beyond 2000’ saw a packed auditorium and a galaxy of stalwarts including Dr.P.V.S Rao, Mr. Ashank Desai and Mr Harish Mehta, among others.

The idea of Mélange 2000 is to bring to all IEEE members as well as future members the latest in technological development, trends and IT scenarios in India and around the world.

Mélange 2000 follows our highly successful All-Bombay Paper contest held on 28^th August 1999, sponsored by MASTEK and Pioneers Office Systems which received over 85 entries from engineering colleges all over Mumbai

Keeping in mind, the interest of all the students, different themes have been assigned to each day of the symposium.
