Dear Technocrats,

        The IEEE ( www.ieee.org ) branch of Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technoloogy ( V.E.S.I.T ) Plans to organise an Inter-collegiate Technical paper Contest on the 28th of August 1999. We invite all students to come forward and participate in this prestigious event.

1. Each team can consist of a maximum of four members.

2. The paper should not exceed 20 sides of A4 stationery (inclusive of illustrations).

3. The paper should be compulsorily accompanied by a synopsis, not exceeding 2 sides of A4 size page.

4. The first page must include : 

    a. The title of the paper.

    b. The participants' name, address, College, Course and Department.

    c. IEEE Membership No. (if any).

    d.Contact telephone numbers.

    e. Email addresses (if any).

5. An entry fee of Rs. 25 per non-IEEE member in the team must be submitted along with the paper.

6. Two hard copies and a soft copy must be submitted for the entry to be considered valid.

7. The paper should not have appeared previously in print or electronic media.

8. All papers must be received before or on the specified date, else the entry will be regarded as NULL and VOID.

9. The paper should be an original work or compilation of the participants and should not have been submitted to any other paper contest before.

10. No alteration in the team composition will be permitted after submission of an entry.

11. The finalists will be informed personally regarding rules of the final presentation.

12. The paper would be judged on technical content, originality, presentation of the paper with special stress on originality and technical matter.

13. The decision of the judges is FINAL & BINDING. All papers may be submitted ON or BEFORE 20th August 1999, to the IEEE student officer in your college, or to the below mentioned contacts.

The paper may be written on any topic related to the following fields :
